Clan Minis enjoy their first games of 2022
On Friday 21 January 2022, we had the wonderful sight of young players from the Minis Sections of Clanwilliam F.C., Mitchelstown RFC and Galbally RFC, having fun and playing some fantastic rugby.
Collegelands was a hive of activity, and the players from all three clubs really showed tremendous skill levels. Their handling, running, tackling, and support for one another was superb across all age groups.
Huge credit to the coaches, players and parents for making it a great night of rugby in Collegelands.
It is also great to see ever increasing numbers of girls playing with the Clan Minis, and with Clan players coming not just from Tipp Town, but from all surrounding areas, including Lattin, Cappawhite, Sologhead, Bansha, Aherlow, Cappamore, to name but a few, it is really an opportunity for these young players and all involved to form new friendships.
While Covid has made the last two years difficult for all, hopefully we can now look forward to happier times, and we’ll get to enjoy lots more matches taking place for all our fantastic young players.
Well done to all involved.
