Clan U13s & U14s – Super Season Finale
The Clanwilliam U13s & U14s finished their season on Friday April 15th when they travelled to Waterford City RFC for the inaugural Trevor “Busty” Griffin Memorial Tournament.
Teams from Waterford City, Clanwilliam and Thurles came together in the spirit of rugby as Waterford City RFC remembered their club man, team mate and most importantly dear friend Trevor “Busty” Griffin. Each team were presented with a specially engraved piece of Waterford Crystal.
Clanwilliam appreciate how important this event was for the Griffin family and all involved in Waterford City RFC, and we were honoured to be invited, and delighted that we could field two teams.
It was a fantastic evening, the boys really enjoyed themselves and they all played their best rugby of the season.
Each of the boys received a Clan crested training top, and special thanks to Coach David Kennedy for sponsoring the tops.
Huge thanks to Brian, Ronan, Johnny, Adrian, David, Paul and all who helped with the 13s & 14s throughout the season and special thanks as always to all the parents for their continued support of our great club.
