Clan U11s at Joe Moran Rugby Festival in Naas
On Saturday 02 April 2022, the Clanwilliam U11s travelled to Naas to represent our club at the annual Joe Moran Festival of Rugby in Naas RFC.
The boys and their coaches had a great day, and were kept very busy playing 12 short games against opposition from all corners of the country.
The Clan boys were exceptionally respectful to the referees and opposition at all times and were a credit to our great club, and displaying their Clan jerseys throughout the day with great pride. What a super group of boys.
The U11s Coaches, Ian Quinlan, Maurice Crowe and Ivor Wilkinson said that despite the disruptions caused by Covid, it has still been a great season for this group of talented players.
They added that the U11s group saw new players join throughout the season, new friendships were made and the bond between them could be seen in Naas as they helped each other out and had great fun on their big day out.
Clanwilliam F.C. are very proud of how this group of players represented our club not only in Naas but throughout the season, and we look forward to seeing them all line out as U12s next season.
Huge thanks must go to the coaches for all their efforts, and special thanks as always to all the parents for bringing the boys to all their training sessions and matches, and for their continued support of our great club.
